Welcome to
Wonderful World of Wood carvings

At first Zuiun Matsuda, a gifted wood carver of Buddhist images,
only supplied his fine carvings to temples based on requests.
He decided to use this gift as a way of communicating with the
public. He believes that Buddha should be a part of everyday life,
not only visible at the temples.

Zuiun wants to up-date the statues and make them more in keeping
with our modern day lives. His creations speak for themselves, no
words are needed. If you are interested to learn more about him,
